CONGRATULATIONS!

 
Mark Lewallyn, son of Stan and Penny Lewallyn and grandson of Barbara Lewallyn,
who graduated from Samford University on May 14th.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude
with two majors:  history and accounting.  He earned 4 varsity letters in baseball as a pitcher. 
He has been accepted to the University of Virginia School of Law where he will be attending this fall.
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Emily Elizabeth Self
 
Daughter of Ross and Nancy Self 
Granddaughter of Fred and Janett Self
is graduating with University Honors from Clemson University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree and major
in Nutrition.  She has been accepted for an internship in nutrition at the
Medical University of S.C. in Charleston, S.C.
 
 

 
Nathan Holtman
 
 
Nathan received the Cadillac Award through the Triumphant Schools program for having all A's and perfect attendance for the 1st semester. He was the only 7th grader at Wellborn High School to receive this award.

Jake plans to live in the Wesley Foundation House and attend Jacksonville State University.
 
MISTY TAYLOR, 2009 graduate of Weaver High School
      
 Misty will continue her education at Gadsden State Community College.
 
 
 
 
 
CHESSA HALPIN
 
 

Chessa Halpin received five awards at Faith Christian School's awards ceremony this year. 

She received highest academic awards for English, Algebra I, History, Science,

and all A Honor Roll. Chessa will serve as head cheerleader for her squad also in 2009-2010.     

 
 
 
Taylor Champion                
 
 

 Taylor was awarded with an  academic bar for having an "A" average during the school year;

this is her third year to be a recipient

of this award.  Aslo, Taylor was presented with an English award and a business technology award. 

Furthermore, she was named All-Star cheerleader

at camp, and she received honorable mention for the year in softball.

 

 WILL WALDROP
 
 

Will made the Wellborn All-Star T-ball team. 

He played shortstop during his regular season for STORM team, which had a 10-0 record.
